Milestones and observations --

Last Monday, Seth's tooth started wiggling and it worried the little boy --

We were debating whether to let it loosen and fall off naturally or to take him to the dentist --

We went for option B.

We're lucky that Seth has good memories of our dentist.  He likes the chair and likes how the dentist polishes/brushes his teeth.

The scary part (for me) was when Dra anesthetized the area -- Seth hated that he had to close his eyes -- so I just explained to him what was going to happen and he was fine.

Apparently, both his lower front teeth were loose and Dra could already see a bump (the new tooth) on his gum.

The extraction happened quickly.

It was a wonder the see how small Seth's baby teeth were -- the last part of him that's a baby is shedding off.  ~sigh~

He was very excited about the tooth fairy coming and he was very careful with arranging his teeth under his pillow (we put them in a small tupperware) --

Unfortunately, his papa forgot to do the exchange so, when the little boy woke up and saw that his teeth were still there, he was a bit sad --

He actually said:  "Maybe the tooth fairy didn't like my teeth." =(

His papa redeemed himself -- while Seth was in the bathroom washing up, he made the switch.  True enough, when Seth checked again and saw two not-so-shiny coins in place of his teeth, he was very relieved and proud of the coins he "earned" --

Observations --

Anya is insanely possessive -- while Seth was practicing his spelling, (spelling the word "fire") -- Anya actually yelled out:  "That's my 'F'!" O_o

She's also a late-bloomer when it comes to cuddling.  When Seth was a baby (actually up to the age of 3), he loved to sleep on my chest.

Anya never did that, even when she was a baby -- she was wiggly and liked her own space.

Now, she loves it.  She finds a way to cuddle as close to me (or her papa) as she can.  She likes holding my hand when she sleeps and she drapes her legs over my thigh.

And her LSS is contagious -- one night, Seth was actually singing the Samba song at bedtime. O_o
