Halloween is 2 months from now but I am already thinking/planning costumes for Seth and Anya --
The original plan was to recycle the Batman/Batgirl costumes they wore to M's birthday last March but the crazy in me wants them in new costumes.
My rationale is simple: They are only children once -- and then they will be teenagers who will think that costumes are lame -- I want them (and me) to enjoy the simple silliness of Halloween while we can.
These are my guidelines for selecting Halloween Costumes for Seth and Anya:
1. Must be comfortable -- there is no guarantee that October will be cool. We actually had the sleeves of their Batman/Batgirl costumes cut so that it won't be too hot to wear. It shouldn't be itchy either.
2. Must be easy to wear -- nothing intricate or elaborate. Should be as easy as wearing a t-shirt.
3. Must be cute -- this is just me. Ignore me.
I really like this cupcake costume on OldNavy.com --
I've asked Seth what he wants to wear and he's dead-set on being Batman. ~sigh~
I wonder if I can convince him to wear a Chef costume?
Or this one from Pottery Barn?
One thing Seth and I agree on is that we need to decorate our house --
A few days ago, he told me he wants to hang skeletons -- lots of skeletons everywhere.
Will try to see what SM has. ^_^
